This is a swarm of around 20,000 honeybees. Yes, that's all bees you see!

This is a swarm of around 20,000 honeybees; and yes, that’s a solid mass of bees!

Many pest control companies will spray and kill our endangered honeybees, and often don’t even eliminate all of the bees after charging the customer in the range of $95.00 to $175.00 per visit. I don’t charge to remove honeybee swarms, but accept donations to cover my time and gas. Afterwards I will place the bees in a new home out in the country where they may thrive and contribute to the ecosystem through pollinating. I’ve successfully removed well over one-hundred swarms / colonies in the last 15 years from homes, yards, and businesses.

Here are some more pictures of just a few swarms I’ve caught in recent years. They are usually very docile and will not sting anyone normally since they are simply looking for a new home and have no honey / hive to protect. They form what looks like a ball of bees called a bee beard as seen below.

News Article about Honey Harvest 2014

Thanks for visiting this webpage about our honey, garlic and Shiitake mushrooms.  BeeAttitudes has been in business for over  a decade.  We sell honey by word of mouth, and this website is designed to educate our customers about our locally produced honey, garlic, and shiitakes.  I also sell propolis, pure beeswax, and, if a good harvest is made, pollen as well.
